Unlisted Number

Telephone number not published in a telephone directory. In most countries it cannot be found even by calling the directory enquiry except in the US where some telephone companies either reveal the number or allow the caller to record a voice-mail message without giving the number. Subscribers requesting an unlisted number usually have to pay a monthly fee.
